Education and Outreach
Protect your business from a lawsuit before it happens by educating your staff about service dog laws and etiquette, as well as business owner rights!
In this workshop, you will learn:
What questions to ask an individual who comes in with a service dog
The difference between a service dog, therapy dog, and emotional support dog
When and how you can ask a service dog team to leave
Proper etiquette to interact with service dog teams
Key aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which outlines the legal protections for individuals with disabilities and their service animals
At Centre Stage Dog Training we emphasize the importance of educating about service dogs, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and how it effects your business. That’s why we offer comprehensive education and outreach workshops aimed at businesses, restaurants, and schools, to teach about how to handle service dogs in the public workplace or academic environment.
For businesses, Centre Stage Dog Training is a perfect opportunity to enhance their understanding of accessibility requirements, improving both customer service and inclusivity. For schools, our programs help educate students and staff about supporting classmates who may rely on service animals. These sessions not only promote awareness but also create a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone, while helping to prevent any legal issues!
Options
In Person: Our in-person programs provide an interactive, hands-on experience that enhances learning through real-time demonstrations and direct engagement with the dogs. Participants have the opportunity to see service dogs in action and ask questions as situations arise. We tailor the demonstrations to specific environments, whether it's a restaurant setting, a retail store, or a school, ensuring that the content is relevant and directly applicable. In-person sessions are especially beneficial for participants who prefer a more tactile approach to learning or want the chance to interact with our trainers and service dogs directly.
Virtual: For organizations that require flexibility or are spread across multiple locations, our virtual programs offer a convenient alternative. These online sessions are designed to deliver the same comprehensive education on service dog laws, the ADA, and service dog etiquette, but in a format that can be accessed from anywhere. Virtual programs are ideal for busy schedules, enabling participants to attend from the comfort of their home or office without the need for travel.
Both our in-person and virtual education and outreach programs are designed to be informative, engaging, and customizable. Whether you’re looking for a hands-on experience for your business or organization or the convenience of learning these important topics remotely, Centre Stage Dog Training offers a solution that fits your needs while maintaining a high standard of service dog education and outreach.
